Analysis of My Toe in the Water
I dip my toe in the water
Before I ever jump in.
It's what my mother said I oughta
To know just how, where and when;
Like should I jump or dive into
The lake or ocean waves
Because if safety's not for you,
Someone might dig your grave!
I kid you not, please don't ignore
Just how and when and where
You do the things not done before
And show the world you care.
