Analysis of What The Hell Was I Thinking (Bussokusekika)

Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)

What The Hell Was I Thinking   (Bussokusekika)

Yes there are those times
That not even I can grasp
My Father’s grand plan
Had I only stuck to mine
I’d be eating Church’s soon
What the hell was I thinking

About this poem

I tried giving a long winded explanation…But for some reason I felt I should play shortstop instead…I don’t know if it’s my paranoia or what but it almost seems as if 3 cars were following me…Go figure…
