Analysis of I’ve Been….Part 4

Made sure that was boiling hot, so
when I throw it, it would stick on you.
for all those ass kicking’s I had to go through.
But truth be told who was I kidding?
I was afraid of you; especially when you’ve
been drinking.
Your temper was hot and cold
Temperature risen through all four seasons, and I had to deal with your
Psychotic episodes

Like! what the hell; what the heck
I had to hide, all my black eyes.
The marks around my neck
Holding in my tears; my cries
Smiling in front of
family & friends while I was hurt & upset
Why? What happen to the love?
What happen to the respect?
You were supposed to be gentle
Not rough
I was your woman, who you were supposed to protect.
I didn’t need your hugs.
The fake apologies; the regrets
