Analysis of Forgiveness

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

Does it really matter

what continent it rains upon
To the sea?

Just as the snail has a spiral design
within its shell

Just like lightning rides the storms
The rain is carried by the wind

Just like the moon will turn the tides today

Tomorrow there is a better answer
which lies covered Deep beyond our pride

Looking deeper You will find it Beyond
Where your mind is going here and now

there is a universe yet to explore within
unfolding right here before you

if you will open your heart again

If only to allow

a new chapter
to begin
