Analysis of Son the Artiste

To my son, the art’st, so brilliantly bold,

In your melodies and colors, stories are told.

An ear for sound, a sound-guru, with talents untold,

Compass’onate heart, in a world so cold.

A beat is a beat is alwa’s a beat.

Ventured out, where your dreams will roam,

A path all yo’r own, a place to call home.

Ne’er a looking back, ne’er a road not taken.

A beat is a beat is alwa’s a beat.

In your canvas of life, new colors you've sho’n,

With every note played, your journ’y has grown.

As you find new love, like a song's sweet refrain,

May it harmonize with joy, wash away any pain.

A beat is a beat is alwa’s a beat.

In this chapter of life, all grown and complete,

With compassi’n and art, your world's so replete.

So here's to you, my son, on this life's grand stage,

With your heart as your compass, your passion your wage.

A beat is a beat is alwa’s a beat.

As an artist, musician, and a soul so free,

The world's your canvas, your mel’dy.

Mani S. Kavuru

Words and writing have always interested me, but the transition now is from scientific writing (which is based on logic and the rational) to a more emotive, lyrical form. At present this remains an experiment to see if I can strike the right tone, elicit a desired effect, etc. Full disclosure: I have been utilizing chatGPT as an "assistant"; I provide the prompts, edit extensively, yet the structure is provided by my assistant. I take full responsibility for the end result. Not that dissimilar to work on a scientific project in the lab, etc. more…
