It is raining
and i want to cry
For the love
that i have found in you
That for now at least
i cannot keep
For the dreams
which so sweetly come
In gentle showers
softly, touching me
In a slow-motion parade
of heartfelt desire
It is not sorrow, which brings tears
To my eyes, it is joy in my heart.
No, it’s not a bad thing,
These living dreams
Between anticipation,
i wait for now at least,
content
as a borrower
Picking up
the few pieces of a dream
i have
This side of forever
About true love and devotion,
In a partnership i’d rather live for
