Analysis of Deep End

I said soon we'll be together
But then it took forever
Now our hearts are'a million miles apart.
When we come in collision
We don't have the same ignition
Now I don't even know where to start.

You send me your music
And I send you my music
But we don't do it all like once.
I see you now and then
And tell you how I've been
But I'm not showing you my truth.

I dove into the deep end
Was drowning, couldn't tell
If you were in those waters too.
Now I'm sitting on the shore
Soaking wet and cold
Hoping that you miss me as well.
