Analysis of Cold Steel

Cold Steel, where has it been?
Feeling everything, but nothing
at all.
Stays for a while then she's gone.
Warm inside,
but the Steel stays cold.
Who holds that Cold Steel?
Hands that shake in fear
or delight?
Cold Steel, who is in control?
Listen while it's in.
Do you hear pain or joy?
Only the Steel knows for sure.
Always felt on the in,
never the out.
Only Cold Steel knows where it has been.
