Analysis of A not so love letter (star dust)
STAR DUST
It's one of those bad habits, holding on to a cactus
Hoping to remove it's thorns, perhaps it could be a flower in need of rescue
Our stars aligned and our constellations united
But you were the sun, and i,the moon(so far apart and will never meet)
The pain of what was, the grieving of what ought to be and the agony of what will never be
Just like the lirio de los valles that only blossoms in the night and thrives in absolute darkness, remember...that night time is approaching and it only gets dark from here.
I fell in love with the sun, and just like icarus...i forgot i had wings that could melt.
Remember me, the phoenix that rose from its ashes, a fire that shouldn't have started.

About this poem
A short, compelling and gruesome story about the after effects from the experiences of a spiritual awakening, heart break and ego death, that all happened simultaneously.
