Analysis of Imagine

Imagine that you where Black,

And the color of your skin was always under attack.

Imagine being judged by your actions and someone else's.

Imagine being treated unequal because your skin was to tan.

Imagine going somewhere and your skin gets banned.

Can you imagine like I can,

Driving down the street gets me shot by a Cop,

or beaten senseless

Walking in unwanted territory gets me shot by the Ops, or robbed relentless.

Oh and did I forget to mention,

I'm a target like every Black man in America because I'm Black.

And the color of my skin is always under attack.

Can you imagine being underpaid by 60% less than your white counterparts.

With the same college degree.

Imagine going to different schools than whites.

And then taught a lie all while their taught wealth and how to out do you.

Imagine finding out that your roots from Africa,

lead you to be a  native to this land before they brutally murdered your ancestors on Thanksgiving Day.

Imagine being told that you're of slave blood,

not realizing that your ancestors Ruled Spain and Portugal for over 400 years.

Can you imagine not having a heritage.

Because there mercifully beat everything you ever owned out of you except your will to live.

Imagine not having a history because they burn every document and stone tablet.

Killed of tribes of African decent around the world that devastated generations of wisdom and knowledge.

Can you imagine not ever having a culture and having to create your own.

And at very least, selling your soul along the way to stardom.

Can you imagine like I can,

See I don't think you can.

Because you're living off the riches of that good ole slave land.

And the color of  your white skin gets you

Thank you for cooperation and have a goodnight man.

See if you reach for your wallet everything's ok.

If I reach for mine it could be my last day.

When you get pulled out your car you get back in.

I get pulled out mine and end up in a coffin.

And we say God Bless America,

But this is the Country God spoke of when he said

The Great Babylon will Fall.

The Country that has murdered numerous people through diseases and man created famines and wars.

Playing with people lives like their toys or got one to spare.

And then you have the nerves to say that you care,

That Black Lives Matter.

To who to you cause certainly not to us .

We killed each other for fun,

Then show up at the funeral with our victims

picture and name printed on a shirt.

Can you Imagine like I can,

See I don't think you can.

To see the smiles on people faces,

When they was told their Free from the white man.

Or to find out that a Jesus wasn't white,

But Black like me.

Can you Imagine like we can,

We don't think you can.

That were a target, like every

Black man and woman in America because were Black.

And the color of our skin is always under attack

Can you Imagine.
