Analysis of Depression
Joe Strickland 1986 (Hobbysville, SC)
Depression is a son of a bitch.
My ambition
Is hindered by my melancholy.
I sleep too much.
To keep myself alert,
I merely read
and read,
Despite the fact
it robs me of life,
it serves as a splendid reprieve.
