Analysis of Scottish Socialism, RIP
I saw Scottish Socialism die yesterday
On Reality TV for tawdry display
Taking King Capitalist's cash for honours
Money for old rope, to hang with Socialism
Selling out his beliefs to Auld Nick with no ism
No more a Red as to any other colour
Standing on a scaffold so sure, the crowd so sad
Watching their hero, praying for a career gone bad
To think of all the speeches for the starved rabble
As he feeds off King Catpitalist's Table.
And so to the TV off button switch I go
All I can think, he know no Latin, Quid Pro Quo
To think I thought he had so much to give and say
I heard Scottish Socialism die yesterday.

About this poem
When a well know Scottish socialist appeared on a Reality Show I was so disgusted that I wrote this poem.
