Analysis of Blue Moon

With eyes darkened in deep blue
I saw her standing needlessly by the sea
All that made her so was all dark and anew
And all that she was then engulfed all that was me

Blue moon, suddenly
You appeared in these dreams
Blue moon, don't you need me
As I stand in this darkness alone
Without a love of my own.

A dark blue hue
And i knew it was you
Staring back at me
Straight beyond the far sea.

I heard you whisper
Softly i could barely hear
Sweetly my heart was left warm
Slowly I wanted nothing else
You said the words tender and calm
A dark blue hue
You said you needed me too.
