Falling tears

She was just hanging there
The rope never stopped
Her broken neck kept bleeding
From her wrists i knew her history
This child has never known freedom
The cracks down her lips
The bones visible on cheeks
This child has never known love

From below her swaying body
A letter so short every word shattered
My heart
" i had a mother
I had a father
I was the only one
But i wasn't what
He had dreamt
I wasn't "enough"
She had no voice
My mother you see
So i became his thing
... i became his thing"

"May he bless them with
A son"

... she was 14.
