Analysis of You Forgot...
You forgot you know me
because that's your simple thing to do.
you bruise and break me
when you're feeling blue.
You forgot I walked there....
and it's not all about you.
I forget sometimes
It's what humans do.
But the grandiosity breaks me
and I come unglued....
I suppress my pain with a small purple pill
you suppress yours with bottles and bottles
6, 12,18,20.
When do I matter.
You forget we are one in the same.
You forget that you cause me pain.
You see me emotionless.
Staring you in the face...
I'm not trying to piss you off,
I'm trying to find grace.
I want you- and that's what it comes down to.
And I'll always want you.
