Analysis of Opportunistically Speaking

Ego feasting opportunists use charm.
And are seldom found,
Without someone's name...
Mentioned to know.
Purposely dropped to start conversation.
In the field that welcomes pretentiousness,
This technique done to do...
is regarded as leeching openly to feed,
One's need for status performed gradually.
While climbing up a charading social ladder.
With an ease that secretly hides desperation.
Until one becomes comfortable enough,
To expose their B.S. expressed.
And acknowledged as talent heard addressed,
By others equally knowing to have achieved...
Their nonsense to defend and protect,
Aspirations fictioned.
Yet deceived by a narcissism.
First ignored to go undetected.
Opportunistically speaking, if course!

Not too many find this time to waste,
As a disgrace to leave a guilt to feel.
Left on their minds to stay that way.
No!
Not these money fast to grab a dollar days.
Let's be real about it.
Opportunities to leech,
Seldom come begging for someone...
To take notice of them quick.
Before the advantage fades.
Without pretending to be interested,
In the season it is, time of day or weather!

Come on.
The only allegiance to hear pledged today,
Is for things to get.
And credit indebted to making appearances.
That's it.
Wasting time to delude and fiction reality?
Remains for those,
Choosing to medicate away denial.
And the effectiveness truth has on their minds.
Done to hope,
Leaders they picked to sit in positions to fix...
Their problems to solve.
Without the government involved,
Comes quick to witness happen.

Although...
This depiction of socialism to live and exist,
Should be labelled something else.
Than what a democracy to describe,
As free to socialize as one wishes.
While some are entitled,
To do as they please socially.
With no regard for humanity.
And this,
Depiction...
Of socialism observed,
To witness lived as is to exist.
Should be labelled for what it is to be!
An exception for hypocrisy.
And...
With a choice to choose to follow,
Those who deceive without clue or hint...
As to how they managed to do this,
Successfully.
By using a charming smile.
And a firm handshake.

'What about competence?'

Geessshhh.
Here we go again to ask questions,
After a storm has passed.
What is more valued?
To notice and accept first?
An impression to make,
With an image of appearance to give it.
Or one's ability to read, write or think!?

'That depends on what kind of storm it is.'

Do us both a favor.
Turn around and keep walking away!
