Analysis of Growing Old Gracefully

Kim Spivey 1957 (New York)

The wrinkles on her face tell a lovely story.
Each line and crease adds grace and glory.
Though she lived her life as a free-spirited bird
Sharing, giving, and caring were the operative words.
Successfully raising a family, working hard to provide
She never gave up hope but took it all in stride.
Her hair still shines like a silvery moon.
Her eyes still dancing to a beautiful tune.
Moving along gracefully with elegance and charm
Her legs are sturdy, they do her no harm.
Growing old gracefully is just fine with her.
Sounding content and happy like a kitten's purr.
