Analysis of The day is coming

Elliot Poetry 1912 (Massachusetts)

I dread that my friend
will be taken from me
We haven't had a fair
quality life like Thor
and his people
I plan to fight back
but I would be punished
I'm just a donkey
and he's a man's best friend
so id need to stand my ground
but it's a risk...
