Analysis of Original Owners of The Planet

Original Owners of The Planet

Animals came before us,
On this planet they roamed,
Living free and wild,
In forests, they called home.

But we came later,
With a developed brain,
We took their lives and liberty,
In the name of research and gain.

We caged them,
Enslaved them in our homes,
Forgetting that they too,
Have the right to roam.

We destroyed their habitats,
Cut down the forests they call home,
Their dwindling numbers,
Left them with nowhere to roam.

They entered our towns and cities,
Seeking food to survive,
But instead of compassion,
We punished them for being alive.

We blame them for being here,
For taking up our space,
Forgetting that we are the ones,
Who invaded their rightful place.

Are we not human beings,
With a conscience and a heart?
Should we not show compassion,
And give them a fresh start?

Let us make amends,
For the wrongs we have done,
Give them space and freedom,
To live under the same sun.

Let us protect their habitats,
And let them roam free,
For they were here before us,
And this planet they call home, just like we.
