Analysis of Can I call you Friend.

Can I call you Friend?

May I trust you to the end
Can you do the same and
call me a friend?

There's nothing to defend
No worries of ill thoughts,

Just introspective thoughts of the here and now's.

Can I call you friend?

Could my heart be calmed by your reasoning?

Should you dare to care
Or is it that your soul is too damned

Please know why I do this questioning
It's all very simple really...

Can I call you Friend?
