Analysis of I do not want things of this world

I do not want things of this world,
I do not want things of this world
for I am not of it
I do not want things of this world
for the devil has a hold of it

I do not want things of this world
like sex, violence, and drugs
I do not want thigs of this world
like all the things that are shown now days on tv

I do not want things of this world, for that is not for me
I do not want things of this world,
because I do not need them you see,
I have someone special inside of me

When I was little, just a young child
I asked Jesus into my heart and from that day
I've grown in Him and I never ever want to depart
I will be going to heaven when it's my time
for my Lord and Savior, Christ the King
is with me for all of my life

So, when things of this world seem to tempting to me
I'll call on His name, Jesus, My Groom help me overcome
and He will be there for me, yes, the battle will be won

Thank you for your blood, Lord and what you did on that cross, for without You and the price You paid, we all would have been lost,
Oh Lord my God, without You, I would be nothing and would not be free from sin, without You the things of this world would have a hold on me, But with You, I have the victory

You tore the veil, You cleansed my sins, and with You, I am victorious and the things of earth have no hold on me, You are my Bridegroom for all eternity

I am a victorious bride, and a joint heir with Christ

Through His name I have power and authority over the enemy so,
I can tell the devil to flee and he has to listen for he has no hold
on me, he is under my feet, he is on the losing side
and I know greater is Jesus in me then the one that is in this world
The things of this world and the sin that's in it will never be for me

I am a blood bought saint, and a daughter of God the Most High King,
He is Adonai, Yeshua Hamashiach, Emanuel, El Shaddai,
Lord of all He reigns, Jesus’, I cry out deep within,
I am waiting for Your return to be with my Groom at
the wedding supper of The Lamb
is a day I've been waiting for since I made You my King
