Analysis of Judgment Waits

The stories almost over and yet it just begins,
The reason that they’re ending is because of all your sins.
The One who’s coming is the Way, the Truth and He’s the life,
To those who hear but don’t wake up, He comes like a thief in the night

When I see Him coming I’ll just bow and say Amen!
I’m not afraid to hear His voice because He calls me friend.
The night has almost ended, the long day over too,
And now for all men judgment waits, so what is left for you?

Will you fly away with me to see all God has planned?
Or will your feet be shackled here in endless shifting sand?
Will you fall upon the Rock of Christ and broken make your stand?
Or at the break of day be catching teardrops in your hands?

I am not saying anything new, it’s all been said before,
By the prophets and Nora Jones while at the threshing floor.
