Analysis of elvis and christmas

'twas the night before christmas
when all through the house
elvis was frantic
he just couldn't find his mouse

he searched everywhere
and he went "hi-and-low"
elvis was stymied
and it was starting to snow

so what did he do
he ate a big dinner, and...
he said a prayer...
smart things for a "winner"

and then all at once
came his friend named jerry
he said, "i have a spare mouse"
now...elvis don't worry

so, remember the next time
when you're "down and out"
just say a prayer, and think of elvis
and you will "smile-no doubt!
