Monday Morning Surprise (at factory)
- February 04, 2023

I wonder at sun-up

Will this be the day?

A new friend met.

A sweet scene set.

Some word of Divine origin.

The job is slow.

All tricks I know

The factory lights

seem so dim.

The coffee shop

Good place to stop.

One waitress likes

To joke some.

She makes me laugh

Just fancy that

It seems to stop the boredom

Ten minutes, Clock.

Some silly talk of

How we spent the weekend.

Kids’ hockey teams.

A movie night

Or in laws for

Then one Guy perks

If after we work

A coffee to be sharing?

To ask me calm

With healing balm

Christ Jesus, are you wearing?

Yes He it seems

Has all your dreams

So tell me Doug.

Your kindness lent.

An end to my despairing?

(Good time to read Second Letter of Peter, Chapter  three.)
