Analysis of This Road

Who can say where the road leads
We’ve smiled, and had some fun
Our lives are good it can be said
Just moving things along..

Your spirit is one that’s fancy free,
You love the winding road….
Ties do beckon, adventure calls,
Tugs your heartstrings, breaks down your walls
Love would not try to stop or stall
That innate freedom that you own

My spirit is one that is at ease,
With pets, and stuff at home….
I’ve done the travel, done the fun
Flown the skies, seen those sights….
Now I travel within my mind to loved ones far away,
Connect by message and our voice for things we need to say…

I love you for who you are, and could never re-arrange
Your dreams and hopes your wanderlust, your everchanging plans
Tomorrow is not promised..  today is all we’ve got
In God I trust to show us, what is best for both of us…
