Analysis of A sonnet about a lady with a little blue bonnet

A little sonnet about a lady in a little blue bonnet;

She asked of her other, if I were walking in a dark alley, would you hold my hand?
His response, no.
Alright, she said, what if I were drowning, would you save me?
Again he responded, no.
Ok, then if I were lost, would you find me?
His response, no.
As she began to weep and turn away, he grasped her hand and began to say, do not flee, my dear.
For if you were within a darkened alley, then I would be a light, shining bright to show your way. Were you drowning, I would swim the breadth of the sea to bring you to shore. And if you were lost, I would be the map to guide you home. For in each and every scenario, I would be right there at your side. So fret not, my dearest love. I am here should you ever be in need.

This has been a sonnet, about a lady... with a little blue bonnet
