Analysis of Silence
There are no stars over Bethlehem
Nor are there voices to speak
There’s just movement; motion,
Round and round
Till we all fall down
The wishing wells and shooting stars
are silent
The gods above and hands in prayer
are silent
All is silent - save the pleading
“Speak to us!”
But there is no answer
There is no truth
There is only silence
So let us sleep
Amen
