Analysis of Jesus’ Pets
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
My suffering does not compare
To the life I once lived in despair
Although my strength is almost gone
I know somehow, I’ll carry on
With wings of eagles I’ll rise above
Till I find rest in his holy love
A living creature I’ll someday be
As I live with the other three
When my time has come and then I die
I won’t see decay; instead I’ll fly
To places this world has never known
Around the seat of God’s heavenly throne
I know what we’ll say when we can see
With eyes all around when we are free
We’ll say holy is the Almighty Lord
All that Jesus created will be restored
