Analysis of Patient Endurance
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Through patient endurance I know I’ll see
All of the beauty that’s found in Thee
Your love and Your grace will take away
All of the heartache I feel today
The pain and the suffering are all for You
Because You’re the only One who is true
I love you Jesus with all of my heart
I wish I could say I had from the start
But Lord you know that is not true
You loved me first; that’s why I love You
And if You say that I must stay
Upon this earth for another day
I’ll live my life to glorify You
Because You’re the only One who is true
