Analysis of Thank you society for saving me

I thank you society for saving me
I was walking a narrow path out of control-as I let the devil still my soul.
Strung out so far I didn't know what to do-weak In the knees not enough strength to carry me through.
The only time I fought the devil, when I was totally out of my head-thats when I wished I was dead.
My life went on like that for more than 30 years-high I'd laugh, sick I'd find myself in tears.
I was blind because I wouldn't let me see- I thank you society for saving me
