Analysis of THE CONDUCTOR

The Conductor leads an orchestra
As they play another song of death,
A song to freeze you to the marrow
A song to steal your final breath.

They play a mournful symphony
They play the Death March song,
They play it piano: very gently
They play it forte: loud and strong.

The Conductor leads a brass band
With cheerleaders marching ahead,
Revenants and phantoms march to
Werewolfs, vampires, the living dead.

He's conducting an undead chorus
As they chant out a song of pain,
Lewd and lurid harmonies which
Can drive any living being insane.

The Conductor leads an ensemble
Singing a loathsome dirge-like sound,
A song of pain, of hurt, and of fear
That brings the strongest person down.

The Conductor leads an orchestra
Playing yet another song of hate,
Spreading xenophobia all around
And calling down a dreadful fate:

A fate too solemn to mention
Like a tornado's monstrous squall,
Like Shoggoths in the darkness
When you can hear their evil call.

Night Gaunts haunt the township
Egregores corrupting the night,
The Conductor leads a horrid song
Which could make you die of fright.
