Analysis of Cheetahs Tired at Sunset

The heat lets go

And Sun apologizes just a bit.

Running, such running

Did not materialize a kill

In earlier hours.

Too blasted quick

On those turns.

And warthogs had

And ugly tusks.

Nevertheless we are coasting

On wildebeest meat.

From two days back.

Lions walked away from

Most of their kill.

Piece of cake keeping

Away the wild dogs.

Vultures did not even try.

Sleep will be good.

Too tired even

To sample tonight’s stars.
