Analysis of A Cry For Help.
I once asked for help from a girl that read med,
but she turned me down, saying I was mad in the head.
Now, this same girl was one I had fed,
and to the level she was at, my money I had spent.
I went to another and pleaded with him.
I told him how I planned to make money from films,
I mentioned I could model, considering I'm slim.
But he laughed at me and said, "Boy, your dreams are dim."
I wrote lots of letters to those at the top.
But never got a response, so I decided to stop.
I had nowhere to go, so I had to hop,
from one shed to another, until the rains started to drop.
I looked up to the government, to help groom my talent.
But how could I from my position get in contact with the president?
I mean, I had not been recognized by my co residents,
how then will I expect to be heard by those not present?
So I decided to ask the Most High,
who already said I should seek that I shall find.
I was constantly looking up to the sky,
with prayers unsaid, but in my mind.
He heard me, and that was it.
He gave me a lift from the pit.
By His throne, I was made to sit.
And now, everything around me is lit.
