Analysis of Love for my country !

Ravyanshi 2013 (Singapore)

Take a look at our hoisted flag
Of freedom and gallantry does it brag ;
Speaks of a coherent nation
Unbound and free from domination.

The road to freedom was full of struggles though
- laden with foreign power and inner strifes;
endless battels were tirelessly fought
some at the front, some silently from the back.

More than a million souls were lost
but the will to free ceased to exhaust
With blazed torches and undying spirit
The forefathers claimed what they rightfully did inherit.

Now as we make larger strides into the future
With optimism, pomp and valour ;
Turn back and look from where we came
Learning from the obstacles overcame.
