Analysis of I was wrong

Perfect, was a time which used to be,
Had no stress,
Regrets of anything, neither,
I thought,
Life as a soulful rendition,
Filled with soothing moments & Happiness
But, mistaken I was,
For life rests in pain,
I am Fantasizing, I feel...

Of a time, when I thought
My voice is mesmerising,
Pleases the one who heard,
A sweet arrow, my smile,
Pierces through the heart,
But, Wrong I was,
For the voice irritates, someone,
Hurts some other, my smile
I know it today, I was revering...

Gone, a time when I thought,
My heart is filled with,
Tenderness, care and innocence,
Charm, admired by someone,
Who misses my presence,
Kept my name in his diary of heart,
But, misdirected I was,
For my heart is filled with
Cruelty, envy & hate.
I realise now, I am supercillious
Habituated, now I am,
To my amateur deeds,
Used to live like an infant.
Soothing, it has been,
Without the weight of responsibility,
Of forcing myself to be ideal.

Yeah! I  was wrong,
Perfect, I am not
But real, I am,
One in a million,
I am my own self...
