Analysis of A mathematical ray

I am as a wayward traveller,
Lost.
Lost as a wayward traveller's
Bound to be.

I tread the path I see
with no memory of the walk,
In me.

Even a wave traversing the ocean,
Knows its journey,
Though, not, its origin and end.

Even the air that flows,
Caressing the flowers,
Kissing the leaves,
Indeed, has a direction.

I move
as if to imitate,
The wave or the breeze.
Knowing full well
I do not have their purpose.

In a world where
Fullstops are stiffling,
I struggle to find a comma.

To take a break
One deserves a break,
Or so the world teaches.

I will not lie.
I'm tired
of this existence.

A mathematical ray
that moves on
Endless, through time and space.

Close these eyelids
Bid me goodbye.
I wish to curl up and sleep,
Till this world is no more.

The little human left in me,
Still hopes.
When I awake,
I shall see, not planes or angles,
But, colours.
