Analysis of Baseball

The ball flies by nearly missing my face
I hope I can hit it,
and make it to home base.

I clench my bat firmly and spread my legs apart,
One, Two, Three bams!
the ball hits the bat.

Nearly spooking my heart,
I race to the plate,
closely I almost missed it,
but I made it safely, so smooth and so swift
