Analysis of Sugar Cover

We pretended to be careless,
But acting like a protest,
Realised the problem under the sugar cover,
That was smooth like butter.
From endless disappointments
We buried our deepest fear,
Just to impart
That it doesn’t destruct.

Sewing the mask with lies
Sugar-coated it as strong fence we might
Fake smiles with disguise,
But I already feel your despite.

See it shallow and delicate,
Fulfil it under the marsh
Exposing our camouflage,
Triggering it to outburst,
Destroy the broken one in curst.
