Hanging, partying, nothing in our hands,
Laughing, cuddling like the world would never end.
I wanted, expected, compromised,
Broken, like unsolvable puzzles.
Know we have been criticised,
Like the way you broke my ankles.

Left me crying, killed me inside,
In trance recall on the drive.
We promised the world
How we would wait until time ran out?
Remember seeing you on the school field,
I know the love has been on the drought.
The nostalgia piled up in stack,
I wish you’d come back.

I couldn’t run before dawn,
Or take any of your shades,
I guess we fell apart and the love is gone,
Sometimes when spring come the snow fade.
