Analysis of My Weapon of War

I have got a weapon of war
It does not draw out blood like a sword

I have got a weapon of war
It does not put the enemy in flight

My weapon of war is my contagious smile

I know you have been through a lot
But does that mean we should wear the old woman's face,
that countenance that sags like over sucked breast?

What has a frown brought in your years of frowns?
It has made you look older than your age.

I am nothing. I am nothing
is not something one should say:
There is something in nothing.

Wear a contagious smile today,
the type that makes onlookers smile back at you;
It's there inside of you waiting for your invocation

Wear a smile-like perfume that goes viral
the type that bids the passersby: Stand still,
Pulls him to have a long intake and sudden release of relaxation;
It's there in you supplanted by life's troubles.

Circumstances will come to shake you,
And give you ten thousand tents to tend it to the end
But always remember smile does  like a magical spell;
It repels the devil's diary to hold you bound.

About this poem

Nothing is worth your smile. We go through a lot in life but we should not forget that smile is a weapon of war. I wrote it to constantly remind myself that nothing is worth my smile.
