Analysis of Lost in the Crowd

I said a word nobody heard.
They turn their backs to me.
What have I done for them to shun;
Not really seeing me?

They may have thought that I was not
A member of their crowd
Who tries to go within the flow
Where shys are not allowed.

With hope abound, I never found
The inner circle door.
They do not care if I am there.
It's been that way before.
