Analysis of In Layman's Terms

Belinda Richmond 1979 (Chicago)

Instead of beating
 Around the bush
 just tell me the truth
Stop telling me Fibs
Stop Lying to me
Look me in my eyes
Because your
eyes never lie
The truth is
in your Eyes
The Truth is
 in your Gaze
The Truth is in
your Demeanor
I am
Totally Amazed
So, why all the Lies
You can't look
into my eyes
Its not a surprise
Can't keep a
 straight face
About to put you
 in your place
Why are
 you shaking?
Why are
you pacing?
Acting all nervous
The expressions
that
you're making
Something must
be wrong
I knew it all Along
Now, time for
 me to be Firm
Tell me the Truth
Be Clear with Me
In Layman's Terms!!!
