Analysis of Hidden Behind Disguises
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Truth denied to lie to oneself,
Is a wicked self inflicted existence to live.
To lie and live in denial defying reality?
Has to have many restless peace less nights.
And days seeking to impress.
Although...
Can you imagine yourself,
Giving your support to endorse deception?
With a doing this done to give,
A validation to others who choose...
To lie to themselves.
And perhaps commit,
Misdeeds done to also do too?
Then what?
Expose you to be a fool as well?
An accomplice.
But no longer in masquerade,
To keep hidden your stupidity?
And...
What difference would that make?
To a doing of a choice one has made.
That has been known to be false and faked,
At the moment...
You or anyone chooses,
Fiction to delude over truth to pick!
'Are you calling me an idiot?'
'No.
That thought had not entered my mind.
But if the doing of it should flatter you?
Then an idiot,
As you see yourself shall it be.
I will not argue over your preferences.
That is something with you I will not do!'
