Analysis of An Indomitable Light

An Indomitable Light

Your light radiates ripples in darkness
The indomitable divide declares
A truth so transparent
Your very beauty and kindness
Defeats foolish imitation
Grace warms the cold
And fear disappears
In your fire.

Eyes open wide
And hearts beat again
Silence dissolves
Leaving a luminous lotus
An ambiance of aromas
Music of emerging life
Love resurrections
Pure energy rising again.

Oh great and majestic light fantastic
Illuminate me in your spirit
Let me shine brightly
Among your mighty minions
Those flickers of fire
So near and so far away
Whose twinkles canvas the dark
And inspire me with hope.

Open my heart with gentle hands
Bring me close to my purpose
So I may discover where
My presence is welcome
Show me where real discovery
Lies with needs to fill
That I your true flame
Set alight the power of the Sun!

About this poem

As I looked up into the night sky I wondered at the possibility that I could change my stars and find my purpose once again among the living.
