Analysis of aspect excerpts

Jeffrey Powell 1979 (Pittsburgh, PA)

Tasked to endure the inescapable crash of the waves
Stricken by the power of silent majesty
          Floundering and fumbling
Challenged by the upward struggle
          Tumbling, turning
Lost in perpetual wonder
          Falling and flailing
Relieved to not share what others demand
          Twisting, triggering
Deserving of the capacity
          Fascinating and fleeting
Susceptible to the inevitable
Trying to stay open; unflinching

Jeffrey Powell

A bit of an introvert, Jeffrey enjoys arranging words and dabbling in poetic forms as an outlet for expressing his thoughts, feelings, and observations. He tends to play by his own rules and darts in and out of the civilized world, as avoiding the conventional gathering is more his style. Jeffrey lives with his fraternal twin whom he enjoys sharing a laugh with at the opportune time. more…
