Analysis of Alpine Ruminations

Karl Morris 1964 (California)

Beside serene pool’s crystalline
Await night’s cosmic cotillions
Stubborn cirques’ surrender sunshine
Predict starlight’s flaunting billions

Demure doe sashays silently
Savor glory’s tranquil domain
Revere dusk’s serene dynasty
View delicate afterlight wane

Venus’ rise bringing twilight
Opening act’s soundless symphony
Dazzled beneath faint satellite
Discern core’s essence vividly
