Analysis of Random Survey

'Excuse me.
Would you mind answering just one question?
To our random survey?'

Of course not.
As long is the question is not personal.
Or have anything to do,
With my religious beliefs.
Or political affiliation.
My diet or food preferences.
Stuff like that I rather keep to myself.

'No problem.
What would say,
Has been your greatest accomplishment.
Thus far?'

Hmmm.
I would say,
My greatest accomplishment...
To achieve thus far.
And...
I believe I have done this successfully.
I have managed to watch,
My nephew and niece...
Grow up to age to have children of their own.
And my nephew now,
Has grown daughters.
With one who now has a son.
My great-great nephew.
And my niece I use to love to tease.
Now has a nearly grown son.
Who will be soon playing college football.
Also my great-great nephew.
And...
Check this out,
My niece's daughter, Kamara...
Another of my great nieces.
Is in college right now.
Study to become a nurse.

'Thank you.
I think we just about covered...'

Hold on.
I'm not through.
Didn't you ask me,
What my greatest accomplishment is?
Thus far?

'Uh...
Oh, yes.
That was the question.'

I would say,
Without being personal about it.
My greatest accomplishment,
To achieve thus far.
Is going home.
And crying like a baby alone.
Done to disbelieve...
How all these children grew up like they did.
Without hint or clue,
They would do it.
And not ask for my opinion.
Or permission to give it.
As if the doing of it was okay!

'Are you done not being personal?'

Oh.
Well...
You did say,
Your survey was random, right?

Well...
Randomly speaking.
I have accomplished,
My greatest achievement.
And...
Between you and me,
I am relieved my personal business...
Like my religious beliefs.
And political affiliations.
Are still unknown.
With no one to know.

'So...
Would you say,
Your greatest accomplishment...
Is being able to cry.
Alone.
Yet with tears in your eyes.
As you describe,
This accomplishment of yours?'

Did I give you my name?

'No.
You didn't.'

So...
My response,
We both know...
Has not been personal.

'Correct.
And...
Thank you for your time.
Also for your...
Interesting and...unpersonal response.'

No problem.
I'm good.

'Me too.
Have a good day.'

I have one suggestion though.

'Oh?
What would that be?

Try to shorten your survey.
That 'greatest accomplishment' question?
Too vague.
Too...open.
Close it a bit.
You feel me?
It leaves people to go on and on,
About their achievements.
No one wants to hear that stuff.
