Lead Me Out Of The Darkness

I followed you to expect,
You would lead me out of the darkness.
And...
I anticipated,
Nothing less...
Than the brightest of that greatness.
Heard and told you had it in abundance.
Only to expect from you that to get.
Not...
Unwarranted allegations.
Or suspicious accusations made,
Towards those...
Kept restricted to disparities.
Because you feel threatened,
By the freedoms they have to express...
The diversity of their ethnicities?
Benefitting everyone,
Blessed to experience entitlements.
AND a democracy that welcomes,
Their free expression.

While...
You,
As unbelievable as it is...
Express your outrageous right,
To oppress others nonwhite?

Who was it that pushed,
Your crib down more than one flight...
Of concrete stairs.
To win a bet,
Your thick head would damage steps...
With a having them replaced.
To permit you to introduce havoc!
Who dares today to admit and accept,
That credit to them given?

I thought you were leading,
To leave behind...
This mindless cave dwelling nonsense.
But...
You are actually seeking,
Supporters to recruit and diminish...
A light shining too bright,
On a mindset of others...
Also refusing to accept to think,
Is as natural as weed to grow use to be.
Before chemicals were added to it.
With a being familiar
To a thought process independently done.

And,
Not to pretend common sense...
If observed long enough,
Can be imitated.
Along with a competence to prove,
All it takes is the staying away...
From direct sunlight that colors the skin!
Making today,
What most refer to as progress made...
A mistake too late to confess,
Was not intended for those diversified...
To be noticed and given,
The limelight for it and attention to get!

'But...
What about the things we have done,
To accomplish?'

'In broad daylight to claim it?
Or...
In darkness to create,
Versions to plagiarize...
The pleasure of your hidden treasure,
To welcome visions of theft.
Destruction, corruption and fraud.
As the main source of your existence!?
And so unique to explain.
Without becoming breathless!
Done with a doing to have your misdeeds,
Cheered, applauded and defended.'

'Believe this or not,
I had no idea...
How powerful TV can be to deceive,
Empty minded thoughtless people.
Sold to accept,
Such garbage their pet dogs won't eat!
And to them,
I humble myself with a gratitude...
Only the wicked understand,
Can bring my achievements...
To drop,
Like a faucet turned on.
From my eyes with pride filled tears.'

'And yet...
You duped, deceived, hoodwinked,
And lied as if this to be...
Your habitual habit to love!'

'I know.
Isn't it wonderful,
To do what is loved the most!
