Analysis of Thief of light
Abby Kesington 1979 (Lagos)
Beautiful, bold and bright
Images I try to portray
A contrast to my inner plight
Often leaving me disarray
Full round lips adorned red
Curling to a beguiling smile
Almond eyes lined black
Wrinkling at the end
All a cover to emotions withheld in style.
Oblivious to the mortal eyes
Pains kept out of sight
Myriad of colors, perfect disguise
To an unprecedented fright
Beautiful, bold and bright
Characters I wish to display
If only anxiety the thief of light
Will leave my soul I pray.
