Analysis of Not Wanted Yet Found

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

If what is not wanted.
Seems all around to be found.
Or so this is repeatedly heard to hear.
As if the repetitousness of it,
Has not made what is unwanted clear.
Without it to question.

Yet to wonder is the one listening.
As to why?
Why would anyone,
Find their time to waste and spend...
Looking everywhere for the same exact thing.
Again and again.
For it to have been where it is.
And...
For what it was not to want!
With no response given.
To the one brought back.
Assisting the other to verify the fact.

'This mess is all over the place.
Look at it.'

I know.
I have.
And just as it is dependable,
To stay in that one place.
As you are to arrive to complain about it!
Over and over.
Not to go where it stays.
Leaving me to wonder,
Which is missing the other more.
And me?
Wondering if I should charge you,
A Finder's fee!
